2011, Mixed Media, donated by the artist.

Marty brings his uniquely eye-catching - and light catching - style of pop art to William Hogarth's Gin Lane.  Visions of modern day squalor are intertwined into - or perhaps twisted through - one of the eighteenth century's most iconic images of degradation. Subverting subject with medium, in his own undeniably fun style, Mart references and recognises the 272 years of Coram's work.
