Angelica Van Clarke had a life saving operation at GOSH when she was 2 days old. Now 15, she drew this hare to help raise funds for two brand new neuro-surgery operating theatres. These will allow 20% more children to be treated. That’s hundreds of children taken out of pain and suffering, and for many the difference between life and death.
A selection of distinguished artists and celebrities expressed themselves on canvas for this great cause. These original works of art were auctioned online, and at the exceptionally glamorous “Hare Ball” evening in London.
All canvases received by 22nd March 2011 have been included in the limited edition commemorative coffee table book with all sale proceeds going to the charity. The finished artworks were exhibited at the Heartbreak Gallery in Central London.
